Jessica is a very enthusiastic and driven young person. She is a Medicine/Law graduate from Monash University. Jessica is very passionate about the efficacy of peer education in the context of Sexual Health Education in young people. She has been involved with YEAH since 2010, and was the National Events Coordinator of YEAH (Youth Empowerment Against HIV/AIDS), running their Events stream. Jessica’s role involved the recruitment, training and management of youth sexual health peer educators at music festivals. Jessica has also been Executive Producer of the Naughty Rude Show. The Naughty Rude show is a radio show targeted at young people. It provides a forum for frank discussion about all things relating to Sex, Dating and Relationships. Driven by an anonymous text-line, this radio show delved into the tricky social, legal and medical issues important to young people. Jessica is a past president of Australian Medical Students Association (AMSA) where she successfully advocated for the introduction of mental health and well-being programs for medical students and junior doctors. She currently is on the Board of Directors for Beyond Blue.
